Recently, the 2025 Busan International Art Festival (BIAF) was grandly held in Busan, South Korea. The festival brought together 12,990 works from 85 countries, presenting a professional and international cultural feast for the global art community. After rigorous selection, two works by the teacher-student team from the School of Journalism and Communication at our university, The Silk Road of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Stone Carvings of Han Charm, both won the Bronze Award in the “International AIGC Visual Art Competition” category of the 2025 BIAF.
The 2025 BIAF global finals covered diverse fields including visual arts, film animation, children’s culture, and digital creativity. In addition to awarding gold, silver, and bronze prizes in each category, the festival also presented major honors such as the Busan Mayor Award and the City Council President Gold Award, recognizing the outstanding contributions and innovative spirit of global artists in the field of creation. The Chinese delegation performed excellently in the global finals, winning a total of 27 gold, 64 silver, and 85 bronze awards.
In recent years, NYNU has continuously advanced its internationalization process. The awards won by two works from teachers and students of the Sino-foreign cooperative Radio and Television Directing program at the School of Journalism and Communication in this internationally renowned art festival not only fully demonstrate the teaching and creative achievements of the school but also lay a solid foundation for the university to deepen its international influence and cultivate talents in media technology and digital video arts.
