

On the afternoon of March 25, the signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation agreement between Nanyang Normal University and Israel’s Adin Horizons was held at Nanyang Normal University. Attendees included Raanan Adin, CEO of Adin Horizons; Han Jun, Deputy Chief Evaluator of the National Center for Science and Technology Evaluation; Luo Yongsong, President of Nanyang Normal University; Xie Haiquan, Vice President of the university; heads of relevant schools from both sides; faculty and student representatives from the School of Water Resources and Modern Agriculture. The ceremony was chaired by Zhang Yaoyi, Director of the International Office.
At the signing ceremony, representatives from both sides delivered speeches. President Luo Yongsong emphasized that this collaboration with Adin Horizons marks a significant milestone in the university’s international exchanges and cooperation. The two parties will engage in extensive and in-depth cooperation across multiple areas, including joint research on water ecological technologies, high-level talent cultivation, collaborative applications for international projects, and academic exchanges. Luo stressed that both sides would leverage their respective strengths, enhance communication, and work together to advance the development of water-related disciplines and scientific innovation, thereby boosting their influence and competitiveness on the global stage.
Professor Xie Haiquan and Mr. Raanan Adin signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of Nanyang Normal University and Adin Horizons, respectively. The signing of this agreement signifies a new level of collaboration between the two parties in the field of water science, paving the way for broader future cooperation and opening a new chapter in their partnership.
It is reported that the signing of this agreement is a key initiative by Nanyang Normal University to actively respond to China’s Belt and Road Initiative and the call for high-quality development in the follow-up projects of the South-to-North Water Diversion Program. NYNU will seize this opportunity to further expand its international exchanges, elevate its global engagement, and inject new momentum into its high-quality development.
